Wire Binding

Perfect Binding
Hot melt binding process where printed materials are glued together at the spine by flexible glue.

A HardCover or hardback book bound with a rigid protective cover. The printed cover then has a "soft touch" laminate applied to it.

Staples are inserted into the spine of folded print work such as booklets, catalogues, brochures, and manuals.

Scoring
A process that places a crease in paper stocks to allow the material to be folded without causing cracking on the grain of the paper.

The method of die cutting involves the use of metal dies to give paper or printed products specific shapes or designs that cannot be accomplished by a straight cut on a web press or a guillotine cutter. See below for how die cuts works and setup information to place a die cut order.

A process which sprays a color on the edge of the paper stock.
Edging
How Our Die Cut Works
Process: Dies made of thin strips of metal blades follow a given pattern fixed on a board (see pictures above). The board with the die attaches to our letterpress machine which provides the clamping force that will cut the pattern into the paper stock.
Setup Information: You provide us with your design (the outline of the shape(s) with precise dimensions). We will cut the size of the die at 100% of the design in your digital file in PDF format and make the die and the cut for you.
